Awesome Aviation offers dry lease aviation services in Australia

Founded in South Africa in 1989, Awesome Aviation spread its wings when it opened a Perth based office earlier this year, offering aircraft leasing services in Australasia.

They specialise in the supply of Beech 1900C and 1900D Airliners as well as Learjet, Falcon Jet and King Air types in the contract lease environment to clients that include Regional Airlines and Operators. These clients work in the  Commuter Taxi, Humanitarian Aid, Freight, Special Missions, Air Ambulance, Government and NGO markets. Awesome Aviation services include the supply of aircraft on Dry Lease, which involves the supply of aircraft, through to full value-added leasing contracts. The company has aircraft which have been deployed on leasing contracts in Africa, the Middle-east, India and Australia.

Further to this, Awesome Aviation has the knowledge, authority and skill to provide Air Ambulance, Charter, Special Missions and Pre-Paid Block Hour operations within its African operation, and is considered the premier Air Ambulance operator on the African continent.

Awesome Aviation has entered into a Joint Venture agreement with National Airways Corporation to explore the Pacific Rim, Australasia and the South Pacific regions, primarily focused on the Beech 1900 leasing and sales market.

Since Awesome Aviation commenced trade in Australia in 2003, they have placed an aircraft in the Northern Territory, concluded a lease-back of a Beech 1900C to GWA in Perth and has leased three Beech 1900’s to Darwin based Vincent Aviation. The three aircraft currently on lease to Vincent Aviation are a Beech 1900C (VH-IYP), a Beech 1900D (VH-VAZ) and a Beech1900C (VH-EMK) and Awesome Aviation is expected to place several more Beech 1900’s  in the Australian market soon. www.awesomeaviation.net
