Aeromil Pacific Pty Limited and Tenix Aviation Pty Ltd - Joint Announcement
Aeromil Pacific of Bankstown Airport NSW and Tenix Aviation of Adelaide Airport SA confirmed today that effective from 16 December 2005, the General Aviation spare parts sales and distribution business activities of Tenix Aviation would be transferred to the Aeromil Group.
Aeromil Pacific, which purchased the business of Cessna Pacific at Bankstown NSW on March 1this year, actively markets the complete range of Cessna aircraft in Australia / New Zealand and provides spare parts distribution support to Cessna owners and maintenance facilities throughout the region.
Tenix Aviation emphasised that it will continue to provide spare parts sales and distribution for M7Aerospace (Metroliner and Merlin aircraft), Propellers and Avionic products. Tenix Aviation’s other core business unit capabilities are turbine engine repairs and overhaul, hangar services, avionic repairs and installations and propeller, electroplating and NDT Services.
Tenix Aviation will continue to develop its markets in the regional and commercial aviation markets worldwide.
The transfer of the GA spares parts sales and distribution to Aeromil Pacific ends a service that Tenix Aviation has provided to the GA industry for more than 40 years.
Aeromil Pacific stated that the purchase of the Tenix Aviation GA parts distribution business and continuing Darwin as a sales and distribution outlet was strategic to increasing the product support capability in the region and complements Aeromil’s existing business capabilities in the marketplace.
Both Tenix Aviation and Aeromil Pacific will communicate details direct with customers over the next week. The transfer of the GA spare parts sales and distribution is intended to be seamless for customers. |
