Aviation
News is firmly grounded in the mature market and large aeroplane
population of Australia and New Zealand.
-
Expanding,
Aviation News is now distributed through the Pacific Islands and the
countries of Asia. Whilst aircraft numbers are smaller in these
countries the business of aviation is increasing as the aircraft
population expands. In
addition the Asia Pacific aviation market is coalescing into a regional
market rather than many national markets.

activity
Our Web Site

comprehensive web based photographic displays, encourage aviation
people to return to the web site regularly which increases readership of
your advertising. Also featured are industry sectors plus links to aviation

Circulation
and Readership
The paper is now a member of the Circulation Audit Bureau
(CAB) and has been audited for the full year to 30th September 2005 with an
audited net circulation of 7,387 broken down as follows:
NSW 2,306; Vic 1,408; Qld 1,568; WA 682; SA 457; ACT
203; NT 165; Tas 93; Overseas 505.
Since the audited period, the circulation has grown to
9,500 printed & distributed copies + over 1,000 email
versions sent to subscribers, to the end of December 2005. Plans are being
affected to continue lifting the level of audited circulation to around
12,000 during the first half of 2006. This is being achieved through a
number of initiatives, including the following:
-
Increasing
distribution within New Zealand to all helicopter owners and all recognised
single and twin engined aircraft owners and operators
-
In partnership
with significant advertisers, increasing the bulk penetration of the paper
into the Asian and middle eastern regions by leveraging the mailing list
penetrations of those advertisers
-
Deepening of
the number of approved aircraft types appearing on the Australian aircraft
register, so that the only aircraft not covered, for practical purposes, are
balloons and a large range, but not all, of amateur built aircraft owners
-
Distribution
to around 2,000 listed public companies in business sectors that are buyers
or users of corporate aircraft and charter aircraft, both fixed and rotary
wing
-
Greater
penetration into all forms of military aviation, covering Army, Navy and
Airforce
Our readership
is estimated to be well in excess of 3 per copy or 30 Thousand plus readers
within the aviation community. The readership numbers have been
substantially increased following the introduction of an electronic version
of the paper and its availability on our enhanced web-site.
